Our well-equipped Ophthalmology Dept. provides following services:

• Routine vision care at the Comprehensive Ophthalmology Clinic.
• Eye testing for clear vision, eyeglass prescriptions, contact lens services, and management of eye diseases by experienced professionals.
• Early detection of eye disorders in diabetic patients.
• Early detection of Glaucoma ( blindness caused by increased pressure with in the eye) a serious eye problem, and Macular degeneration (loss of detail vision)
• Dry eye treatment, headache and eye allergies.
• Treatment of eye diseases and disorders, itchy eye, burning eye.
• Early detection of eye sight disorders and correction in school going children

As kids head to school its perfect time to make sure they have the best possible vision.

Diabetic Patients:

An eye exam is mandatory once a year for well controlled diabetic patients. If you have uncontrolled diabetesthe eye exam is recommended every 3-6 month. Diabetes is the third leading cause of blindness and vision disorders. An early detection is critical in diabetic related eye diseases and disorders.

Recommended Eye Test Schedule:

First eye exam	At the age of 6 months
Second eye exam	Before entering the school
Vision corrected children	Every 1 year
Child with no vision problems	Every 2 to 3 years
Vision corrected adults	Every 1 year
Adult with no vision problems	Every 2 to 3 years
After 40 years of age	Every 1 year
Diabetic patients	every 3-6 months or Once a year depending on diabetic condition.
